So while I was waiting for my turn during the Meet & Greets, I was just looking at them and suddenly, Garrett looked back so I immediately waved and looked like an idiot. He was sooo awkward when he waved back but asdfghjk I just love him okay. And when I caught Jared’s attention, I did the ‘I LOVE YOU’ sign to him and he did it back then omg can I just die.

8:20, it was finally my turn. I was dancing while I made my way to the little M&G stage and I was singing ‘I TOOK MY SHOES OFF! I TOOK MY SHOES OFF!’ then Jared was like ‘Yeaahhhh’ and all of them were laughing/grinning/idk lol then I hugged Garrett, then Jared well omg I gave him the tightest hug ever, then Kennedy lol I was like ‘Oh my god Kennedy I l0o0o0ove you’ then Pat awh well I don’t know if he heard it but I said something like ‘Pat you’re my big brother!’ while I was hugging him lol then John ahhhh he’s amazing. So after I got to hug each of them, I was like ‘GROUP HUG!!!’ then we posed for the picture and before I left, I was like ‘SHOELESS GIRL, ALRIGHT?’ yes I had to say it like really loud ‘cause WTK was already playing their set so I have to kind of yell so they could hear me. Well anyway, they all nodded and John was like ‘SHOELESS!’ yes he said that loud.

There goes the best 2 minutes of my entire life.

That whole week couldn’t get any more stressful. I cried, I was devastated, I felt bad for my mom, I skipped school a lot… but those guys were my remedy. Everything felt so much better once the whole thing started. This band means the world to me, and until now I still can’t believe that I’ve already met them.

One month ago, the shoeless girl just met The Maine. Or The Maine just met the shoeless girl. Ha.
